So, it is time for what some people call "the game of the year" (ok, no one calls it that) between Amsterdam Agents (where I play) and the Dutch national team in Floorball. Since no one really knows what floorball is (sort of a combination of ice hockey and field hockey the Dutch like to say), and my futile attempts to explain it is always met with confusion I invite you all to the wonderful Sporthall De Pijp to experience a truly nordic sport. It's a practice game and it's free, and it's the only game my team will play in Amsterdam, so this is the time to come and indulge in nordic culture.
The game begins at 13.30 on Sunday in Sporthall De Pijp (Lizzy Ansinghstraat 88), and it will be the perfect opportunity to get that hang over in check by watching me and some other foxy gentlemen running around after a white plastic ball with holes in it. I personally can't think of a better way to spend your Sunday:)

Jag spelar faktiskt också innebandy. Dock inte på landslagsnivå utan med medelålders IT-konsulter på fredagslunchen.
Istället för "Agents" och "landslaget" heter vi "dom onda" och "dom goda" (betänk att många av dom här killarna gillar Sagan om ringen och sånt).
Då jag egentligen saknar teknik för innebandy har jag tvingats lansera mig som en Tomas Holmström som "gör rent" framför motståndarkassen. Lite nördigt kanske, men jag trivs i min roll.
Erik: dom goda mot dom onda, det är ju fantastiskt roligt, och fantastiskt nördigt. Jag kan verkligen se dig i rollen som Tomas Holmström, lite otippat är att även jag faktiskt haft denna roll i mitt lag, trots min inte allt för imponerande fysik, tyvärr har jag inte fått ut speciellt mycket mer än lite blåmärken av det. Och du är fortfarande den minst nördiga nörden jag känner, om det är någon tröst:)
