Lykke Li for President

Sorry for never holding my promisses (big list over 2007, in Swedish), but there are others things (read: life) in the way (mor on that, life, in the coming weeks). The chair I use at home is really unconfortable, which is ironic since i live in a mansion, which makes me less likely to sit infront of the computer at home, after doing it for eight hours at work. And, there are not Swedish letters on the keyboard at my office. So that's why it makes for sense to go with English now.

Anyways, as you know the US voters might select a female President (they might also elect a crazy Republican, but for the sake of the argument, let's hope not) for the first time in history. In Sweden we have a bald Prime Minister, we don't need hair in Sweden. Fortunately, we also have Lykke Li, and her 'Little Bit' is on my list of best songs last year. Little Bit is a sparsely orchestrated song about falling in love or as Lykke Li put's it, with her sexy whispery and a bit mysterious voice, 'think I'm a little bit, a little bit in love with you'. It may not sound like much on paper, but if you've ever been in love (which I hope you have, it's a wounderful, hurtful and magical thing) you understand precisely what she is talking about.

Lykke Li is releasing her debut album Youth Novels in Sweden in the end of January, the first single from that album is Im Good Im Gone, and it's, like most things she has made so far, just short of amazing.
